Ugg Boots Sizing Guide

Getting the right size is key to the comfort and warmth of ugg boots.

How to Measure Your Foot

Not sure what size you are? Follow these steps to measure your foot:

  1. Place a sheet of paper on a flat surface, against a wall.

  2. Stand on it barefoot with your heel against the wall.

  3. Mark the tip of your longest toe.

  4. Measure the distance from the edge of the paper to your mark – this is your foot length in cm.

  5. Always measure both feet and use the larger measurement.

Important Sizing Note

If you’ve owned a pair of uggs before - whether purchased from us or elsewhere - please don’t assume the same size will be right for your new pair. Ugg sizing can vary between models, styles and collections. Unless otherwise stated in the product information, our uggs are true to size. We recommend choosing your regular shoe size, or measuring your foot as shown above and using the size chart for the style you’re buying.

FAQs

Do I Wear Socks with Ugg Boots?

Ugg boots are designed to be worn barefoot. The natural sheepskin lining works best when it’s in direct contact with your skin, providing insulation, breathability and cushioning.

How Do Ugg Boots Fit?

A new pair should feel snug but not tight. The plush sheepskin lining will flatten and mold to your foot with wear, creating a perfect fit over time. They’re not meant to fit like sneakers - expect a bit of give after a few wears. If you’ve owned our uggs before, don’t rely on your previous size alone - always check the product page and size chart for the style you’re buying.

Still Not Sure?

If you’re between sizes or unsure which ugg boots size is best for you, just contact us with your foot length in cm. We’ll recommend the size that fits you best.

Extra Tips

  • Half sizes? If you’re in between sizes, we usually recommend going up a size.

  • Trying them on? Wear them indoors on carpet first to ensure they fit properly before removing tags or wearing outside.
